The hurricane shutters were finally finished yesterday - a good lesson learned for our next trip; not to start any new projects in February! Almost everything is packed as I write, with just a few last minute items to do before we leave. The waves are huge again today (and it was blustery all last night) so I think it's highly likely that the marina will be closed again. No boats appeared to have moved so far.
We hope you have enjoyed our blog as much as we have enjoyed our time here. It has been a great experience and we hope to do it all again later this year.
